Will it actually heat food properly, or just warm it a little?
Yes, it heats food properly. The 1.5L stainless steel container sits directly on a 60W heating element. Plug it in for 20 minutes and your food is genuinely hot. Works for rice, pasta, curry, soup, stews, leftovers - anything you would normally microwave.

Is it safe to use at work?
Yes. Heativo comes with a standard UK mains plug and is CE certified. It draws 60W, similar to a desk lamp. It is a small desk appliance in the same category as a phone charger or a fan. Most UK offices allow it without any issues. If you work in a van or on a site, the 12V car adapter means no socket needed.
How do I clean it?
The stainless steel inner container lifts straight out and can be rinsed under the tap. The outer unit just needs a wipe down with a damp cloth. Do not submerge the outer unit in water.
How long does it take to heat food?
Around 20 minutes from room temperature. If your food has been in the fridge, allow 25 to 30 minutes. The easiest routine is to plug it in the moment you arrive at work. By the time you are ready for lunch, your food is hot.
